Ho:Cr:Tm:YAG
Ho:Cr:Tm:YAG is a high efficiency laser material which lasers at 2.1μm. It has wide applications in medical, military and meteorology fields.
Yb:YAG
Yb:YAG is one of the most promising laser-active materials and more suitable for diode-pumping than the traditional Nd-doped systems. Compared with the commonly used Nd:YAG crsytal, Yb:YAG crystal has a much larger absorption bandwidth to reduce thermal management requirements for diode lasers, a longer upper-laser level lifetime, three to four times lower thermal loading per unit pump power. Yb:YAG crystal is expected to replace Nd:YAG crystal for high power diode-pumped lasers and other potential applications.
Ho:Tm:YLF
Ho:Tm:YLF crystal is 2μm laser crystal with Tm ion sensitized. Conveniently pumped at 792nm, 2.05μm linearly polarized beam is output. Working mode is: First, Tm ion absorbs 792nm pump light energy, and transfers the energy to upper laser level of Ho ion by non-radiative transition, then Ho ion emits laser.
Tm:YAP
Tm:YAP is the best LD-pumping laser crystal of 2μm range for its 795nm adsorption band easily accessible with high power AlGaAs diode, high quantum efficiency, good physical, chemical and optical properties, linearly polarized output and wider absorption band of 4nm than Tm:YAG. It can be used in all-solid-state laser of 2μm range in medicine and military fields.
Nd:YAP
Nd:YAP is a well-known laser crystal for high output power resonators, and especially suitable for lasers with electro-optic cells or harmonic generators for its polarized output. The 1340nm emission wavelength of Nd:YAP is more advantageous for application in laser medicine than 1319nm emission wavelength of Nd:YAG.
