Product Description
Yb:YAG is an important diode-pumped laser crystal, more suitable for diode pumping than traditional Nd-doped laser materials. Compared with commonly used Nd:YAG crystals, Yb:YAG crystals have a wider diode pumping absorption bandwidth, which can effectively reduce the thermal management requirements of laser diodes. At the same time, the Yb ion laser has a long upper-level fluorescence lifetime, and there is no excited state absorption and energy upconversion, and the non-radiative thermal loss is small. The thermal load generated per unit pump power is 3-4 times lower than that of Nd:YAG crystals, making it an excellent crystal for high-average-power solid-state lasers. Leishengqiang Company was the first in China to successfully develop Yb:YAG crystals, and has achieved stable production of large-size crystals, providing Yb:YAG crystal laser rods, laser slabs, and laser disks of various specifications.
